WHY WE STARTED
Boulder deserved a builder it could trust.
Big View Builders was founded to fill a gap that Dan had seen throughout his career, a gap between what clients were promised and what they actually recieved. Too many contractors overpromise, underdeliver, and disappear when problems arise.
Dan started BVB with a different philosophy: be honest about cost and timeline before you start, be on-site every single day while you build, and stand behind every home you put your name on.
That commitment hasn't changed. We are physically present on every job. You won't reach a answering service, you'll reach the people actually building your home.
Big View Builders specializes in high-end custom homes, Marshall Fire rebuilds, ADUs, and heavy timber barns across Boulder County, from Boulder, Louisville and Superior to Niwot, Longmont, and Lyons.

Dan has spent more than 30 years building high-end custom homes, first in Michigan and then in Boulder County. He started Big View Builders to meet the demand for trustworthy contractors in the Boulder area and teach his son Josh the art of building custom homes.
